Sharing the Gospel Using the Internet - Quotes

"The Lord, over the centuries, has had a hand in inspiring people to invent tools that facilitate the spreading of the gospel."
We have obviously seen how big of a difference advances in technology can make in our world today. Especially over the past couple of years, we have witnessed the development and advancing of various social media networks. They are mainly used to keep in contact with friends, but a lot of the time they act as a time-killer. But, we can transform our use of social media into our own way of sharing what we believe.
An experience I've had with this was a couple of years ago when my dad gave me a book of quotes for Christmas. Starting January 1st, I posted one of those quotes every day on Facebook. As the year progressed, people I hadn't talked to for years would send me messages saying how a specific quote would touch them. I ended up sharing quotes every day for two years.
This made me realize that even taking two minutes to post a small message can really make a difference to someone. If two minutes turned into ten minutes by writing on our blogs, imagine how the little things we share can make a difference in the lives of others.

"You do not speak for the Church as a whole. You speak as one member-but you testify of the truths you have come to know."
When we were flying home from Mexico, McKenzie and I were seated next to a man who asked us about the "mission" that the members of our church serve. We led a great discussion that lasted the majority of the flight, but there were many times where we were caught of guard and we couldn't answer one of his questions with written doctrine or examples of the scriptures. It was at these points in the conversation where we would simply share what we know to be true because of the testimonies that we have developed. It's so important to share what you've come to believe because of your faith in Jesus Christ and His restored gospel.

My Perfect Day

On my perfect day I would sleep in for as long as I wanted to, but time would stop so I didn't waste the entire morning. For breakfast my dad would make pancakes, my brother would make cheesy eggs, and my mom would make sausage and bacon. After breakfast, I would fly to Switzerland and visit the mountains and the waterfall caves. For lunch, I would go to Brick Oven and eat Chicken Parmesean, and for dessert I'd go to Chili's for a molten chocolate cake. After lunch, my family and I would play in a field somewhere in the mountains until we were beat. Then we'd have a barbecue with everything delicious and top it off with Blizzards from Dairy Queen. I'd end my day sitting next to the fire cuddling one of my nieces or nephews until they fell asleep. THAT, would be the perfect day!
